Christopher S. Terrio


Chris has 30 years’ International Executive leadership experience and accomplishments with over 18 years at Heineken N.V. in the US, Europe and Canada. He has also held senior Executive leadership roles for Consumer Impact Marketing and Coca Cola Canada. 

Prior to joining the KDC team in October 2017, Chris served as President & CEO of CROSSMARK Canada Inc., an international sales & marketing agency that delivered integrated solutions and services to Food & Beverage and CPG Partners including Proctor & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson, among others.

Tim McChesney

Senior Vice President, Marketing & Strategy

Tim oversees the marketing, strategy and brand development activities for both Diamond Estates Wine & Spirits Inc. and Kirkwood Diamond Canada and its partners. Tim has more than 30 years’ experience in marketing, marketing communications, brand strategy and development in the communications services business as well as the advertising and marketing communications industry. He has held leadership positions as Chief Marketing Officer, head of brand strategy and development and as president of a national brand strategy consultancy and worked in Canada and the United States.

Andrew Green

Vice President, Legal and General Manager, Allied & Specialty Brands

Andrew was a founder of Diamond Estates, which originated in 1997 with his startup agency Boka Wines & Spirits Ltd. Since that time Andrew has had experience at every level of the beverage alcohol industry, from store calls and head office calls to most recently the VP of Marketing at Diamond Estates. Prior to starting his agency in 1997, Andrew was a corporate lawyer in Toronto.


Russell Sandham

Director of Marketing, Wines

Russell has 30 years' beverage alcohol industry experience and has special expertise in wines and scotch whisky. He spent eight years in sales for Chateau des Charmes, one of Canada's prestige winemakers, and 10 years with UDV Canada (now Diageo Canada) before helping to form The Kirkwood Group and is now an integral part of the brand team.

Mike McVean

Marketing Communications

Mike has been working in consumer and trade communications since 1977. In years spent as a newspaper reporter, magazine editor and publisher, graphic designer and Director of Publishing Services for Southam's business press division, he has honed his ability to deliver the right message - on target. Mike joined Brian and Russell to help form The Kirkwood Group in 1998.

Nancy Ferrante

Inventory Coordinator

Nancy joined the team in 2013 from Del Monte Canada, Canadian leader in packaged fruit and vegetables, where she and her team were responsible for all inventory, warehousing and distribution. Nancy has more than 20 years’ experience in logistics, distribution and inventory management.

Adam Evans

Brand Manager

Adam’s career in beverage alcohol begun in 1989 at the LCBO in the retail channel.  After being recruited from of the LCBO’s head office in 1993, Adam has worked at TOP tier importing agencies helping develop some of the most iconic wine, spirit and beer brands in the Canadian market. He has held a variety of sales and marketing roles in all markets in Canada, both regionally and nationally. As a certified sommelier and passionate wine enthusiast, Adam has travelled the world of wine, having studied viticulture in France, Italy, Chile, Argentina, California and Canada. He is a friend and well respected business partner with suppliers, buyers and key industry professionals from across the globe.

Karen Lockhart

Assistant Brand Manager

Karen joined our team in October of 2008. She brings 23 years' experience in the beverage alcohol industry, most of those with Maxxium Canada. Most recently, Karen managed some of that company's third-party wine brands in Ontario, including Maison Louis Latour, Lurton and Maison Brotte.

Tim Ralphs

Assistant Brand Manager

Tim worked for Diamond Estates Wines and Spirits from 2009-2012 before leaving the country with his wife to work and travel abroad. After returning to Canada, Tim worked as a Field Sales Representative for Tier 1 spirits brokers in Canada and has now made the move into Marketing to share his more than 10 years of Beverage Alcohol industry experience and market perspective. Tim couples his Sales/Marketing skills with a strong IT skill set.

Curry Scott

British Columbia Sales Manager

Curry has more than 20 years' experience in the beverage alcohol industry, most recently with Constellation Brands where he was the Corporate Accounts Manager for Retail and Duty Free in BC. Curry previously held a variety of sales and management positions at Vincor Canada.


Neil Bryce

Saskatchewan Territory Manager

Neil has incredible in-market knowledge as he has 34 years of experience with the SLGA. As a Provincial Franchise Manager from 2005 to 2010 Neil introduced many new products into the franchises to increase their sales and their bottom lines for the SLGA. Prior to that he was a store manager in Watson for 13 years, so understands the inner workings of the SLGA, the HO staff, their policies, the plannograms, store programming, merchandising and how to sell to stores. Neil joined KDC in May 2015.


Ed McGurry

Manitoba Sales Manager

In the beverage alcohol industry since 1989, including almost 15 years' sales experience with MolsonCoors Canada, Ed also worked in the Wine industry with Vincor, as well as with the MLCC at store level. He has extensive experience both at retail and on-premise in the Private channel in Manitoba and prides himself on the many relationships he has built over the years within the industry.


Marc Laverdiere

Ontario Sales Director

Marc joins KDC with extensive experience in the Ontario market, having worked with Diageo, Mark Anthony as a Territory Rep, Charton Hobbs as Sales Supervisor for the East, Authentic Wine and Spirits as Ontario Sales Director, and most recently as Ontario Sales Manager for Roust Canada.  Marc has experience with every category and is intimately familiar with the LCBO, its processes and people. He is a strategic business planner and will collaborate well with head office staff, while also motivating and organizing his team to execute with excellence.
